Prosecutors accused the 23-year-old employee, A.A., of allowing her 26-year-old uncle, who is a policeman, to have consensual sex.
According to the charge sheet, prosecutors said 26-year-old K.S. had consensual sex with his niece who allowed him to sleep with her.
Deception, rape
However, when A.A. appeared before the Dubai Misdemeanor Court, she pleaded not guilty and her lawyer Yasser Al Naqbi accused the uncle of deceiving his niece and raping her.
"...We maintain that K.S. deceived her before raping her," argued advocate Al Naqbi when he defended A.A. before the Misdemeanor Court.
Prosecutors accused A.A. and K.S. of having consensual sex. The uncle was charged with consuming a mind-altering substance.
"My client alleged in her police statement that K.S. threatened to kill her if she refused to please him...," Al Naqbi said. A verdict will be heard later this month.
